Durbanville Children’s Home helps maintain the Durbanville Children’s Home in order to maintain their unit, serve 3 balanced meals, create pleasant living conditions for the children, buy equipment, cover administrative and staff costs and render therapeutic services.

TYGERBEAR FOUNDATION

The TygerBear Foundation’s goal is to establish an environment in which superior quality psychosocial care services can be rendered to improve the lives of children, their families and the people of the Western Cape in general.

MAGDALENAHUIS

The Magdalenahuis provides accommodation for young women in need. The services available for the residents include: personal interviews, family therapy and group sessions with our social workers; pastoral and medical care.

SUNSHINE EDUCARE

Sunshine Educare is a preschool within an informal “bush” settlement located on the Frankdale Waste disposal site just off the N7 outside Tableview. Over the past few years the preschool has stood outlike a ray of light in a place of darkness.The school also serves as a “community centre” and is used as a meeting place for community meetings, or meetings with external parties such as social workers, the local government, etc. It has become a symbol of hope and possibilities.
